This article assumes that you have some familiarity with Joomla and that you already know how to post articles.
Although you can just copy and paste any text into a Joomla article, should you?
If you copy and paste directly from Microsoft Word or a similar program into Joomla, beware. Such programs will embed formatting codes into your text. The drawback of this is that the content won't show use the font styles that have been defined for your website. The embedded formatting codes will override your stylesheets.
To get around this problem, copy your content from Notepad. Notepad won't insert any formatting codes; it uses plain text. |
