Your developer has most likely granted access to you so that you can get in to the backend interface to add articles and menu items.

Editing a Joomla article from the administrative interface

Click on Content | Article Manager.

The default view of the article manager is the most recent 20 articles that have been posted on the site. You can go to the bottom of the screen to change the number of articles listed. Or better, you could display only the articles you are currently concerned with by filtering the display. At the top of the list, you could filter by section, category, author and state.
