Upcoming Events of Interest in NE Ohio – “Leadership” and “Annual Economic Forum”
I’d like to share a couple upcoming events put on by local organizations who are our clients and with which we are involved. These events are apropos for many businesses and organizations in NE Ohio.
Nov. 9: “Leadership: What the Good Ones
Do and Don’t Do”
Lake Communicators is an organization for marketing professionals in Northeast Ohio. They welcome anyone who finds themselves marketing a business or organization in some capacity.
On Wednesday, November 9, Lake Communicators’ luncheon topic is “Leadership: What the Good Ones Do and Don’t Do.” Robert Shepens of Champion Personnel will cover the fundamentals of organizational leadership. His business is a recipient of the Weatherhead 100 Award, among others.
Oct. 18: 2016 Annual Economic Forum Breakfast

The Lake County Economic Development Council is holding their annual breakfast with the theme, “Local and National Economic Trends for 2017 and How the Presidential Election’s Outcome Might Affect Us.”
The two speakers are Dr. Ted Jones, Chief Economist for Stewart Title, and Dr. Douglas Brattebo, Director of the Center for Engaged Ethics at Hiram College.
The annual economic forum is a fascinating event with large attendance. This year’s presentation is particularly timely and applicable as it is right before the presidential election.
